Shoaib Akhtar Pays Ultimate Tribute: अरशद नदीम पर की गई टिप्पणी के लिए शोएब अख्तर ने नीरज चोपड़ा की मां को फटकार लगाई।
Shoaib Akhtar doused his chapeau to Neeraj Chopra’s mama for the commentary she made on Pakistan’s Arshad Nadeem.A megastar in the Indian sporting diapason, Neeraj Chopra inked off with a tableware at the Paris Olympic Games after being bested by Pakistan’s record- breaking Arshad Nadeem in the men’s pikestaff gamble final. While suckers in India regretted the missed occasion, seeing Neeraj fail to retain his gold order at the Paris Games, the athlete’s mama had no regrets as the man who got the gold, Arshad, is also like her son. The commentary made by Neeraj’s mama swayed everyone on social media, including Pakistan justice legend Shoaib Akhtar.
We’re happy with the tableware. The bone who got the gold( Arshad Nadeem) is also my child,” Saroj Devi had said after the final, speaking to ANI.
” Gold jis ka hai, wo bhi hamara he larka hai”. Yeh baat sirf aik maa he keh sakti hai. Amazing.( The person who won gold, is also our son. This can only be said by a mama . Amazing.),” twittered Akhtar, in response to the comment made by Neeraj’s mama .

With Chopra’s tableware and four citation orders, three of them coming from the firing contingent last week, India stood 63rd in the orders table. Arch-foes Pakistan were 10 notches above thanks to Nadeem’s gold, the country’s lone order at the big event.A day after wrestler Vinesh Phogat’s heartbreaking disqualification from the 50 kg gold order bout, the Indian contingent was desperately hoping for orders from the hockey platoon and Chopra.
Both delivered but Chopra, despite getting a bonafide legend in Indian calisthenics with his successive Olympic orders, was a shade underwhelming, managing just one licit gamble, the order- winning 89.45 m trouble.
It was a season’s stylish performance but not enough to get him the gold, which was snared by Nadeem with a gamble of 92.97 m, a new Olympic record that left the Stade de France stunned.
The earlier Olympic record stood at 90.57 m in the name of Andreas Thorkildsen of Norway, set during the 2008 Beijing Games.
Thorkildsen was watching the proceedings from the daises, along with three- time Olympic champion and world record( 98.48 m) holder Jan Zelezny of Czech Republic.
nevertheless, Chopra came only the third Indian and the first in track and field to win back- to- back individual Olympic orders.
Only wrestler Sushil Kumar( 2008 and 2012) and shuttler PV Sindhu( 2016 and 2021) have won back- to- back Olympic orders.
